I earned a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Health Biology at Spring Hill College, as well as a Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant* (PA) Studies from the University of South Alabama. Trained as a PA, I then began working at The Liver Center, a dedicated clinic within Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates. There, I specialized in hepatology / gastroenterology, diagnosed & treated patients with acute and chronic liver and digestive diseases.
I moved to Norway in 2009 and then transitioned from patient care into industry. For several years up to 2019, I was the General Manager of Norway / SVP Commercial & Market Strategy for the Swedish digital health company, AMRA Medical, which utilizes AI in medical imaging as a novel biomarker platform for precision medicine applications. My roles included:

What I Do
Professionally, I consult across within the Nordic life science ecosystem, with start-ups to scale-ups and for cluster organizations. While my role(s) are tailored to the needs of each client, I also support clinical and business strategy development, KOL and stakeholder identification / engagement, investor relations, amongst other objectives. Regardless of which hat I am wearing, my goal is to bridge gaps in life sciences between the Nordic countries and towards the United States.
Personally, I believe in showing up in the service of others, operating as an advocate, and tackling challenges creatively. With this in mind, I am:
An active member of Women in Global Health (WGH) Norway, which is a platform to connect, strengthen and advocate for gender equality in global health within academia, public and private sectors
Part of the WGH Norway COVID 50/50 Task Force, which serves as a national hub for COVID-19 and gender equity actions and activities
A Mentor for both Professional Women in Norway, as well as Digitalwell Ventures
The Founder | General Manager of Kampen Pride, an organisation through which we support our local LGBTQIA+ community
